The qualification is for security supervisors and security business managers who may engage in sub-contracting arrangements for personnel and clients.
Security supervisors lead teams to coordinate and implement a range of security operations and functions such as control room, monitoring centre, electronic security and guarding. Security business managers coordinate security manpower and services to clients while operating under complex regulatory and contracting arrangements.

Entry Requirements:
MA Training Academy requires learners to:

Course Delivery and Assessment:

Our course is delivered by distance learning (online) via eLearning using our user-friendly learning management system.
The course is self-directed and includes regular contact with our trainers and assessors, ready to support you on your learning journey.
The course can be completed over a 12-month period or if preferred you can select an accelerated learning plan to complete the course over a 6-month period.
Assessment will be through demonstration of knowledge through written answers and projects and demonstration of workplace skills and knowledge through practical simulations of workplace activities.
Delivery Duration Options:
- Standard delivery – 1 unit per month for 12 months (approx.. 20-25 hours study per week)
- Accelerated learning – 2 units per month for 6 months (approx.. 30-40 hours study per week)
Course Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this Qualification, you will be issued with an official certificate; CPP40718 Certificate IV in Security Management.
